Great video! Can I ask what type of metals can sodium thiosulfate precipitate out of solution as pure metals? For example, I think it is powerful enough to convert copper ions to base copper metal. How about other metals like iron? Thanks!
Great video! I've used sodium thiosulfate to assist with purifying aluminum hydroxide of iron impurities. The main purpose why I started using sodium thiosulfate was to create synthetic pyrite via hydrothermal synthesis. I'll create a video of that process eventually.
