  1. In the uk Adidas just release classic gazelle types with different colourways and names and people line up to pay £100 for plimsole 1970s technology trainers.
Nike is much more forward thinking and a better shoe.

  2. Put any Nike next to Adidas Superstars and i'll always choose the Superstars. I went through the enitre Nike shoe catalog here and laughed at how overratted Nike is holy shit

  3. OK. Here's my two cents. Quality aside, Adidas is for the mature and style conscious customer where as Nikes are for the sneaker head and hypebeast who constantly fall for the marketing ploys of big brands. I should know. I was one of them.
Nowadays, the only Nikes I can bring myself to spend money on are AJ ones, Huaraches and Pegasus '89s and I already own enough colourways of those too. Functionality meets timeless silhouettes. I've completely grown out of Air Maxes and mouth guard bottoms.
I love sneakers but I firmly believe taste should evolve with time. That's what fashion is all about. Not get caught up with "history" or "emotional connection" perpetuated by brands.
To each his own I guess.
